About WiFiMax USA
WiFiMax USA LLC is a specialist wireless networking company providing professional WiFi solutions for commercial, hospitality and event environments.
Our services focus on three core areas:
Event WiFi & Temporary Networks
High-performance temporary WiFi and internet solutions for conferences, exhibitions, corporate events and other demanding environments.
Warehouse & Industrial WiFi

Hospitality WiFi & Casting

WiFiMax has established wireless networking operations and experience in Australia and New Zealand and is developing its US operation from Dallas–Fort Worth.
We are now looking for a capable and motivated Wireless Network Engineer to become an important early member of our US technical team.
The Role
This is not simply an Access Point installation position.
We are looking for someone who can attend customer sites independently, understand network environments, deploy and troubleshoot wireless infrastructure, communicate professionally with customers and work closely with our senior engineering team.
The position combines field engineering, wireless deployment, troubleshooting, site assessment and customer interaction.
You will receive engineering support and project direction while being trusted to execute projects professionally in the field.
Projects will initially be primarily throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area, with occasional travel to other US locations as our operation expands.

Just as importantly, you should be:
Reliable and organised
Comfortable working independently
Professional with customers
Able to follow engineering documentation and project instructions
Comfortable asking questions when something is unclear
Able to document your work properly
Calm when troubleshooting under pressure
Interested in learning new technologies

Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, MikroTik, Ruckus, Ubiquiti or equivalent industry certifications are highly regarded but are not mandatory.

Career Opportunity
This is an important early technical position within WiFiMax USA.
We are building our US operation with the intention of developing a permanent engineering and field-services team supporting customers across multiple US markets.
For the right person, this position provides an opportunity to grow beyond field engineering into senior engineering, project management or US field operations management as the company expands.
We are particularly interested in people who want to help build an operation rather than simply fill an existing position.

Please submit your resume together with a short introduction describing your networking and wireless experience.
